Dear colleages,

I have the pleasure to inform you, that the Annual Symposium of the National Committee for Germany within the ICTMD has taken place from the 19th to the 20th June  2026 at the Institute for Musicology at the Humboldt University of Berlin, with the topic "Urban Ethnomusicology" and Free Reports.

The General Assembly has elected a new presidency, a Chair and two Vice Chairs. They will start their new positions, at the end of the month ofAugust 2026,  after the handing over of the records to them. 

The report of the symposium will follow soon.
